Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 3 cups water
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown sausage in a pot over medium heat. Remove and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in the same pot. Sauté onion and garlic until soft.
  3. Add chicken broth and water. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add potatoes and cook until tender, about 15 minutes.
  5. Stir in cooked sausage, kale, and heavy cream. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
