Ingredients

- 8 oz pasta (penne or fusilli)
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
- In a large bowl, combine tomatoes, basil, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Add cooked pasta to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.
- Sprinkle with parmesan cheese before serving.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

- Use whole wheat pasta for extra fiber.
- Add grilled chicken for extra protein.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
