Ingredients

- 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
- 1 green onion, sliced (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic to make the teriyaki sauce.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Place salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Flip the salmon and pour the teriyaki sauce over it.
- Cook for another 3-4 minutes, basting the salmon with the sauce.
- Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and green onion if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in the sauce for 15-30 minutes before cooking.
- Serve with steamed rice and vegetables for a complete meal.
- Adjust honey to taste for a sweeter or less sweet glaze.
