- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the beef mixture in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the beef.
- Arrange tater tots in a single layer on top.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until tater tots are golden and crispy.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, broil for 2-3 minutes after baking.
- Substitute ground turkey for a lighter version.
- Add diced bell peppers for extra flavor.
