Instructions

  1. Pat the scallops dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  2. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  4. Add scallops and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  5. Reduce heat to low, add butter, garlic, lemon juice, and zest to the skillet.

  7. Return scallops to the skillet, coat with the sauce, and garnish with parsley.
  8. Serve immediately.
