- 1.5 lbs (680g) beef sirloin or ribeye, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger in a bowl.
- Add beef and onion to the marinade. Coat evenly and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat.
- Cook the beef in batches until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per batch.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.

- Slice the beef thinly for best texture.
- Marinate longer for deeper flavor.
- Serve with rice and kimchi.
