15-Minute Grilled Cheese Sandwich & Tomato Soup Bliss

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 can (400g) tomato soup
  • 1/4 cup milk or water (for soup)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each bread slice.
  3. Place one slice, butter-side down, in the pan.
  4. Add cheese slices on top.
  5. Cover with the second bread slice, butter-side up.
  6. Cook until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side.
  7. Heat tomato soup with milk or water in a pot.
  8. Season with salt and pepper.
  9. Serve the grilled cheese with the warm soup.

Notes

  • Use any cheese you prefer.
  • Add herbs like basil to the soup for extra flavor.
  • For a crispier sandwich, cook on low heat for longer.
