Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread
- 2 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 can (400g) tomato soup
- 1/4 cup milk or water (for soup)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat a pan over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Place one slice, butter-side down, in the pan.
- Add cheese slices on top.
- Cover with the second bread slice, butter-side up.
- Cook until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side.
- Heat tomato soup with milk or water in a pot.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the grilled cheese with the warm soup.
Notes
- Use any cheese you prefer.
- Add herbs like basil to the soup for extra flavor.
- For a crispier sandwich, cook on low heat for longer.
