- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 3 celery stalks, chopped
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup green beans, chopped
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
- Stir in carrots, celery, beef broth, diced tomatoes, and green beans.
- Season with Worcestershire sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes until vegetables are tender.
- Serve hot.

- You can add potatoes for extra heartiness.
- Substitute ground turkey for a leaner option.
