- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until softened.
- Stir in kidney beans, diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer.
- Cover and cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- For extra heat, add chopped jalapeños or cayenne pepper.
- Top with shredded cheese, sour cream, or chopped cilantro.
- Can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
