Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef stew meat, cubed
  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 3 potatoes, diced

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp flour

Instructions

  1. Place beef stew meat at the bottom of the crock pot.
  2. Add carrots, potatoes, onion, and garlic.
  3. Mix beef broth, tomato paste, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Pour mixture over the meat and vegetables.
  5. Sprinkle flour on top and stir gently.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  7. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For thicker stew, add more flour.
  • You can replace potatoes with sweet potatoes.
  • Freeze leftovers for up to 3 months.
