- 2 mahi mahi fillets (6 oz each)
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 ripe mango, diced
- 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1 lime, juiced
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Pat the mahi mahi fillets dry and coat them evenly with Cajun seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the fillets for 3-4 minutes per side until blackened and cooked through.
- In a bowl, mix diced mango, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, and salt to make the salsa.
- Serve the blackened mahi mahi topped with mango salsa.
Notes
- Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste for more or less spice.
- Use a cast-iron skillet for the best blackened effect.
- If mango isn’t available, substitute with pineapple or peach.
